ABTC is a novel community-based approach to providing a home and a sense of belonging for approximately 50 residents who have experienced chronic homelessness in Waterloo Region.

We’re a broad cross-section of people creating a self-organized community built on respect for each other and where we live.

Thanks to Alair Homes for donating all of the contract management for the construction of our kitchen and shared space, as well as producing the video to promote A Better Tent City
