Your generosity means everything to us and to the residents we serve.

A person cannot go straight from chronic unsheltered homelessness to housing ready.  With your support, we will be able to continue to provide temporary homes, stabilize lives, support people in their struggles, teach them skills, and give them the tools to succeed. 

Thank you all for your donations. These will go towards operating a program that uplifts people from their struggles and prepares them to rejoin our community.

A Better Tent City Waterloo Region was incorporated as a charity in 2022 (# 784 763 302 RR0001), charitable tax receipts will be provided for financial donations of $25 or more. There are many ways to donate!

Volunteer

We rely on volunteers so that all donations go directly to improving services and facilities for the residents. 

For more information about how to volunteer please email abtc@waterlooregion.org.  We are always looking for volunteers to help with meal preparation, baking and with site and cabin maintenance activities.
